Neighbourhoods in Zuba town, Abuja

In this article I will discuss the Neighbourhoods in Zuba town, Abuja. Zuba is a town in the Gwagwalada area council of Abuja FCT that is popularly known for transportation (to different parts of the country); Automobile spare parts market, fruits market and college of education. Its residential neighbourhoods are partly surrounded by mountain. In this article I have written about the various neighbourhoods that are found in the Zuba town located in the Gwagwalada area council of the FCT.   The Runji neighbourhood This neighbourhood takes its locations on one part of the Abuja-Kaduna express-way. Sharing boundary with the no.1 satellite town of the FCT, Kubwa. This neighbourhood is occupied by low income earners, entrepreneurs; employees; transport workers and also students attending the College of Education. The good side of this area is that it has longer hours of power supply more than other neighbourhood as at the time of my writing. What I encountered in this area is that it has unclean drainage system which is not health friendly. I think the stakeholders (landlords etc) can do something to improve the status of the area.   Zuba neighbourhood This is the first neighbourhood in Zuba town FCT that originated with the town. This neighbourhood consist of the fruit market, the auto-spare parts market, the motor park and beyond. This neighbourhood contain social amenities like banks, restaurant, superstores, courthouse, fuel station etc. This is the closest neighbourhood to the Abuja-kaduna express way. A lot of people are residing in this area. More especially, civil servants(people working for the government in Abuja Metro). Although the nature of the roads are in a state of disrepair in most parts. The power supply is average and the pipe-borne water is nowhere to be found with no sign of improvement. The neighbourhood linked and merged with a close-by town Madalla.   Ikwa neighbourhood This is another neighbourhood in Zuba town in FCT, that is just behind the Zuba neighbourhood. This is an area harbored by civil servants, small entrepreneurs and students. This neighbourhood is characterized by rough roads, poor power supply etc. The main source of water is bore hole. There is a good population of people living here. neighbourhoods in Zuba Abuja the power supply is just like it used to be; ‘long hours light-out and short time lights-on’. The alternative power in the area is electric generator, popularly known as ‘I pass my neighbour’.

“Possibility is in the mind of those who believe, we don’t need a Prophet before there’s a change ”─Uzondu Chigozie

The Yimi neighbourhood This is the innermost neighbourhood in Zuba town, Abuja which houses school College students and petty-business owners, civil servants as well as other employees. This neighbourhood has same detail of bad road, major source of water from bore holes, and well water with no electricity (at the time of my writing) In conclusion All these neighbourhoods in Zuba town, Abuja are similar in their road situation, power supply, pipe-borne water and overall planning of residence. Why are they like this? My answer is that: No one care enough to create something better. It is someone that can create a better environment, it’s someone that can build a better residence. Someone with passion for living and environment can make living in Zuba desirable. Although, the government has its role to play, so they should wake up from their busy schedules and do some work on Zuba to make it a better place to live. We cannot just fold our arms in waiting for the government to do something, the stakeholders can move for a positive change within their circle of influence; and until we do that, the neighbourhoods in Zuba town, Abuja will remain in a where it is.   Thank you for reading this article hope it was helpful.

You need standard life insurance – not one of those “accidental death” policies. Yes, they exist and yes, you usually need a physical and medical records disclosure. See the insurance section under Yahoo Finance “Personal Finance.”
